How to connect cable to elder plasma tv?

hi, i have an older panasonic plasma tv beside no cable inputs. i want to connect cable to it but it doesnt have cable inputs, just the a/v component input/outputs. i wired the cable through a vcr but it with the sole purpose paritally works. the problem is that only channels up to 20 work and i hold about 100. the other channels simply come up blue with no sound or anything. any suggestions? appreciation.

Answers: On the VCR change the input to cable or CATV. Go into the channel setup of the VCR and you will find the cable or CATV setting. Your are probably immediately on air/boradcast/antenna.

Channels 2 - 13 are the same for cable and Broadcast TV after that they are different but some upper cable channels may come contained by fuzzy on the lower UHF TV channels.

After you have it within the cable setting then do an auto channel furrow.If you have the Control for the VCR, go into Menu and auto find the channel.
